Happy New Year! Vortex is back from a well-deserved Christmas holiday, and has kicked off
the new year with our traditional workshop.
Due to the nationwide corona restrictions, the groups have been working individually,
and fewer people have been allowed to use the office and workshop than normally.
Despite this, we are all motivated for a new semester in Vortex!
Amongst other things, our team has worked on improving the orientation of the AUV and training its vision, simulated different methods of acoustic communication, completing our designs and build some new test objects for our AUV to train with.
The week was filled with workshops and meetings. This has let us set a great precedent for the rest of the semester, and we will continue to strive towards our goals.
